Selena Gomez is over the speculation about her appearance.
On Saturday, the "Only Murders in the Building" star came across a video on TikTok from April 2023 in which a plastic surgeon was commenting on the actress' difference in appearance from a few years ago and at the 2023 Golden Globes.
"I literally have no idea what she has gotten done. I think she's been through so much in her life, especially medically related, so I don't think it's fair to speculate whether or not she's gotten cosmetic things done," Boca Raton physician assistant, dubbed Marissa the PA on TikTok commented. "I don't know what to attribute any of these changes to."
The creator ironically defended Gomez from scrutiny. "At the end of the day, let's just leave her be. I feel like she's been through enough in her life, and she's beautiful regardless," she said at the end of the video.
However, Gomez wasn't happy with the subject matter.

"Honestly I hate this. I was on stripes because of flare up(s). I have Botox. That’s it. Leave me alone."
Marissa the PA issued issued an apology to Gomez on Sunday. "I adore you. I really do mean the best, so I apologize if this rubbed you the wrong way in any way whatsoever."
She added, "You don't owe it to anyone to tell us why you don't look the same as when you did when you were a teenage or in your twenties."
The "Calm Down" singer responded, "I love you. Not about you."
"I just get sad sometimes," Gomez added.

During an appearance on the "Giving Back Generation" podcast with Raquelle Stevens in 2019, the singer opened up about how people treated her in the face of health concerns.
"I have lupus and deal with kidney issues and high blood pressure, so I deal with a lot of health issues, and for me that’s when I really started noticing more of the body image stuff," she said. "So for me, I really started to notice when people started attacking me for that."
Gomez continued, "And in reality, that's just my truth, I fluctuate... And that got to me big time. I think for me, that really messed me up for a bit."
